Reimagined. Refreshed. Renewed for the Future.

Our Reimagine Campaign marked the beginning of an ambitious capital project to address vital facility repairs, modernize our YMCA, and ensure that this important community resource remains strong for generations to come.

The effort began with an extraordinary $1 million seed gift from Virginia Ross, presented to then-Executive Director Jeff Fife. Her generosity helped inspire an incredible community-wide effort, in which an additional $2.5 million was raised through the support of donors who believe deeply in our Y, our mission, and the people we serve.

With those resources, the Y launched the Refresh phase—turning that generosity into meaningful improvements throughout our facility.
The transformation has included a remodeled lobby; renovated bathrooms for beautification and ADA accessibility; updated fitness areas with new cardio and strength equipment; new air-conditioning systems; pool renovations; a major electrical overhaul; duct cleaning; new paint and flooring; energy-efficient lighting; new doors; renovations to executive offices, and more!

And the work continues.
We are currently renovating the lower gym with new wall panels and paint, complementing the new air-conditioning and the LU Interactive Gaming System and updated lighting system already installed. We are also working toward the addition of four individual bathrooms on the lower level adjacent to the locker rooms, a refreshed community room, continued roofing repairs, and, in a future phase, an elevator to further improve accessibility throughout our facility, and site work preparations for a plan while considering our next steps with an upgraded childcare space.
Every improvement represents something much greater than a renovated space. It represents the generosity of a community that cares about its YMCA, believes in its programs, and understands the importance of creating a facility that is more welcoming, accessible, modern, and sustainable.

We are incredibly grateful.

Because of our donors and supporters, we are taking vital steps forward while preparing our Y to serve children, families, seniors, and our entire community for generations to come.

We invite you to stop by the YMCA to see the upgraded spaces for yourself. Take a tour, learn more about the improvements already completed, and hear about the exciting developments still ahead.

Most of all, we look forward to honoring the individuals, families, businesses, and community partners whose generosity made this transformation possible.

Together, we reimagined what our Y could be. Together, we are building its future.
