Gym Schedules

Effective July 1st, all children accessing the facility for Open Gym and Drop In Basketball times MUST have a Waynesboro Family YMCA membership. 

Children 12 and Under MUST be accompanied by an adult.

13+ may attend Open Gym and Drop In Basketball times without an adult.

Basketball

Our basketball leagues, clinics, and classes combine team play and individual skills in a fun and supportive environment. Kids can develop their basketball skills including passing, receiving, shooting, footwork and dribbling. Not only will they have an opportunity to improve their technique, but they’ll also build social skills, gain confidence and develop leadership skills.

Coed Youth Basketball League

Early registration for our Winter Youth Basketball league is now open!
 
Participants registering between now and November 21st will receive discounted registration:
 
Members: $75
Non-Members: $110
 
Space is limited!
 
After November 21st, the price will increase +$25.
 
Registration fee also includes a team tee shirt!
 
Kids will have their evaluations November 29th and receive their team assignments by December 1st. 
 
Games begin on January 3rd. 

Mini Allstars Basketball

Introducing Mini Allstars!

This program is for children ages 3-4 to begin learning the rules and basic skills of basketball in a fun environment without the pressure of competition. 

Registration opens on September 15. 

Cost is $60 for WFYMCA members and $80 for non-members. 

Mini Allstars will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00-4:30 October 7-30.

Friday Night Lights

Introducing Friday Nigh Lights! This event is open to all students currently enrolled in middle and high school.

Come out, play basketball, hang out with your friends!

Concessions, including pizza, will be available for purchase!

Admission is $5 per child.

Fall dates TBD. 

Our soccer programs are designed to provide youth with an opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of soccer in a safe and inclusive environment. YMCA soccer programs typically focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

In partnership with Augusta United Soccer Club we will offer our Soccer Tots Program so kids ages 4-5 beginning in January 2024.

Martial Arts

We offer a variety of martial arts classes for youth and adults. Participants will develop discipline, confidence, respect, focus, and self-defense skills in a fun and safe environment. Training is offered in a variety of levels, ranging from beginners to those who are ready for Black Belt testing.
