YMCA Group Fitness Classes
The Waynesboro Family YMCA Group Fitness Classes are co-ed and designed to fit all levels and ages. These classes are free with your membership. All “Y” instructors are certified in group fitness exercise through a nationally recognized certification organization.
Cancellations for group fitness are posted on the Y’s Facebook page. We recommend you consult our Facebook page when possible before heading to class!

Kat Draego

Clarence Henley

ADDITIONAL FACTS & INTERESTS:
Clarence is 25 years of age, played college football and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was involved in intramural sports, and served as a CrossFit intern. He is a Planner & Youth Sports official with Nelson County Parks & Recreation. Clarence is actively seeking ACE/YMCA personal training certification, and is excited to work with individuals of all ages to improve strength, speed, agility, confidence, and overall health. Outside of the Y, Clarence loves to spend time with his family and friends.

Natalie Hall

ABOUT NATALIE: A reformed cardio junkie with a background in track and field. Strength training has such great benefits for strength building, weight management and body composition. I love the team atmosphere of group exercises classes, as you develop friendships and accountability with the other members of your classes, it creates a fun and encouraging dynamic. I love being a part of that and helping cultivate it.

Sue Clark Mirra

ABOUT SUE: After 34 years in public education, and prior to my retirement from Stafford County Schools, I coached Special Olympic skiers, instructed educators, attended boot camps, and taught a variety of exercise classes at YMCAs, and private studio settings. In my late 40s, I focused heavily on the benefits of strength training and nutrition, and became a regular at a local Westside Barbell powerlifting gym. I had incredible mentors and trained with several world class athletes who inspired me to seek certification in personal training and group fitness. I continue to work with students from our local school division promoting Inclusive Wellness. I love my time at the Y, and with my Marine husband as we hike, bike, ride ATVs, travel, and relish time with our family.

Bonner Odell

- Blue Sash in Yang-Style Tai Chi (7 years of training)
- Studied in Shaolin tradition at Yee’s Martial Arts Academy in Hercules, CA, founded by Grandmaster John Yee in 1962.

- MA in Dance with training in Kinesiology

Jessica Shepherd

- Certified through AFAA since 2015.
ABOUT JESSICA: I’ve been teaching at the WB YMCA for over 6 years now, and I love it! I’m certified in and teach a variety of fun classes: Zumba, Barre, Yoga, Pound, TRX, Silver Sneakers, Spin, and Strength Training classes. I’m grateful I’m able to move and take care of my body, and help others in their health journeys.

Berkley Delung
Berkley DeLung teaches the Cardio Strength group fitness class at our YMCA.

Holly Humphreys

About Holly: I have worked in the fitness industry for about 20 years in a number of different roles. After getting certified in Personal Training in 2004,
I went on to teach high school PE and Health for 7 years. I’ve taught a number of different group exercise formats, but I love Zumba for incorporating
both dancing and great music into a good workout.

Kristi Alger
Now she is back again and is teaching Step-Aerobics, Gentle Conditioning, Abs/Core
and she is the primary instructor for our Senior Fitness program with teaching the
Balance & Stability class every Wednesday. Kristi brings a fun and positive attitude
to her classes!

Lilyann Chambers
She is a college student who brings fun, energy and a new light to our fitness studio!
