No experience necessary, willing to train and certify in house. Class fees will be refunded for participants dedicated to working at the Waynesboro Family YMCA.
Participants must work a minimum of 1 shift a week for 90 days to have class fees refunded, must work a minimum of 1 shift per month to stay on payroll.

Swim Instructors

Waynesboro Family YMCA is seeking part-time swim instructors for group and private lesson instruction.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old. Afternoon and weekend availability a plus.
Applicants should be enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be comfortable in the water and able to withstand extended periods of time in the water. Candidates will need to be able to perform skills to the standard that they are teaching and will need to be open to teaching children as young as 6 months as well as adults.
Great time and group management skills a plus, as well as creativity and comfort in using the equipment, toys, and lesson plans provided.
American Red Cross, Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor, or WSI certifications are preferred but not necessary.
Willing to train and certify in house.
Class fees will be refunded for participants dedicated to working at the Waynesboro Family YMCA.

Water Aerobics Instructor
PT, mornings and some evenings available
Share your love of exercise, movement and the water by instructing an aqua aerobics class.
