Together we can ensure a brighter future for youth and families. The Waynesboro YMCA Foundation’s soul mission is to support the operations of the YMCA in perpetuity. The Foundation was formed in 2007 and now has over 40 individuals that have made a gift in their estate to the Y and 2.5 million in assets. The Foundation distributes 3-5% of the 5-year average of the fund to our Y each year.

Today – You can make a gift of appreciated securities, charitable IRA rollovers, real estate, and other assets. You can even create a gift that pays you income, including Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Gift Annuities, or Charitable Lead Trusts.

Tomorrow – You can make a gift of bequests, naming our Y as the beneficiary in your retirement account or life insurance policy, or naming the Y in your will.

We are planting the seeds of the future for those who succeed us. Our legacy can live on long after we are gone with future generations sitting under the shade of the trees we planted – protecting, nurturing, and growing future generations.
